Things To Do

There is plenty of activity on the Hitching Post Ranch: hiking, horseback riding, even stagecoach rides in an original stagecoach that carried U.S. mail in 1882. At certain times of the year you could get in on cattle drives and calf branding. We offer cookouts, campfire sing-alongs, and cowboy entertainment such as obstacle courses, roping and a whole lot more. After experiencing the Hitching Post, you may be interested in having us coordinate your own old-fashioned ranch wedding in the hills under the trees by the river. For the sportsmen, we offer hunting and fishing. The ranch has deer, antelope, and quail.
